Some Questions Don't Have Easy Answers
Why are we shaped the way we are? What allows people to change? What does it take to become who we could be?
Hello, I’m Erica Bowen, PhD, C.Psychol
These are the questions that have driven my work for more than 25 years as a forensic psychologist, researcher, clinical supervisor, and coaching psychologist.
I’ve studied them in the criminal justice system, in therapy rooms, in organisations and in the research that informs national policy.
I’ve sat with people in the moments before they changed, and with practitioners in the moments after.
Now I bring that understanding here - to the practitioners who need a space to think, the women ready to reroute, and the organisations asking harder questions of themselves.

What I offer:
This practice holds two connected strands of work:
Supervision and reflective practice
For psychologists, coaches, and allied practitioners working with complexity, trauma, and systemic harm. BPS-approved supervision grounded in forensic psychology, integrative methodology, and two decades of published research on what makes change possible.
Workshops and retreats
For women navigating transition, holding too much, and ready to reroute. Day retreats, residential programmes, and creative workshops; all shaped by the same evidence-based, trauma-informed understanding of how people become who they could be.
Professional Supervision and Reflective Practice
For practitioners and practice-focused business owners who need a thinking space that's genuinely their own. Whether you're navigating the complexities of clinical or organisational work, or simply need a confidential space to process and grow - this is where we slow down to go further.
Restorative Workshops and Retreats
Small, carefully crafted gatherings that draw on my EMERGE Blueprint (TM) Framework, yoga nidra, and somatic practice. Whether you join a half-day workshop or a longer retreat, these spaces are designed to help you rest, reflect, and reconnect - not with a version of yourself you used to be, but with who you are becoming.
